When God looks upon us it is with favour, “For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him….”  2 Chronicles 16:9

When our eyes are diverted from the Him we are at risk of losing favour, “If my step has turned from the way, Or my heart walked after my eyes, Or if any spot adheres to my hands, Then let me sow, and another eat;Yes, let my harvest be rooted out.” Job 31:7-8

What we look upon is critical.  “Does He not see my ways, And count all my steps?”  Job 31:4

“Let your eyes look straight ahead, And your eyelids look right before you. Ponder the path of your feet, And let all your ways be established. Do not turn to the right or the left; Remove your foot from evil.”  Proverbs 4:25-27
