Rescue

The word rescue means to free from danger or evil.  Time and time again we see God rescuing His people in the Bible.  God is faithful.   When we step back and look what He is rescuing the people from the majority of the time, it is themselves.

“All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord ^[a]has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.” Isaiah 53:6 NKJV

As we extend out our hand and grab Gods, He saves, heals and delivers.

“Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, And He saved them out of their distresses.  He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions. Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men! Let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, And declare His works with rejoicing.”  Psalm 107:19-22
