Pleasing God.

How do you please God?  Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’  Mathew 22:37

“So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.” Romans 8:8

Do you love God with all your mind?   If so, what are you thinking on? “For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.” Romans 8:5

Do you love God with all your heart?  Take inventory of your words.   For what proceeds out of the mouth reflects the heart.  “Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.”   Ephesians 4:29-30.

Do you love God with all your soul?  “… put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts,” Ephesians 4:22
