Definition of All?
I have prayed for physical and spiritual healing for many people. The most common response I get when it comes to physical healing is,”If it is the Lord’s will.” But that comment never comes up when I pray for spiritual healing. And, often the idea is, “I know God heals physically, but will He heal me?”
When Jesus went to the cross He shed His blood in many places; His head as they pressed on the crown of thorns, His back as they scourged Him until His muscles were exposed, His beard as they tore it from His face (Isaiah 50:6), His hands and feet as they pounded the nails, and His side when they pierced it with the spear.
He has finished the work for our salvation and healing, but we must accept it by faith.
”…and by His stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5b NKJV
“…And great multitudes followed Him, and He healed them all.” Matthew 12:15b NKJV
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16 NKJV
