The first motto of the United States Marine Corps is Fortitude and was said to define a Marine and his actions.

The Bible talks a lot about fortitude… The Bible can give you fortitude, the courage to move forward in adverse conditions, the strength to do God’s will during good or bad times.

It is not in our own strength, but God’s strength.

“But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31

I pray “that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,” Ephesians 3:16-17
