Where Did the Time Go?

As I was walking to my mailbox and looking at the bare trees, I thought about the fact that it is almost time for new buds to appear; yet only yesterday, it seems, the leaves fell to the ground. In the past, winter seemed to never end.

The disciples of Jesus asked Him what would be the signs of His coming. And He answered them, “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.”  Matthew 24:21,22  NKJV

So, where do we hide from this coming tribulation?

“Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me! For my soul trusts in You; and in the shadows of Your wings I will make my refuge, until these calamities have passed away.  Psalm 57:1  NKJV
