Why are you hiding? I heard these words from a minister. I was confused. Hiding? As I later prayed and asked the Holy Spirit to show me if there was something I was hiding, the Holy Spirit showed me several walls. “…For the spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God’s.” 1 Cor 2:10. The walls were built as a self-defense mechanism, and they were a barrier to my healing.

Satan was trying to make sure that the wound that he inflicted on me would not heal. However, I knew that God is my protector, and I can trust him to heal all wounds.

“The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” Psalm 18:2

“You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.” Psalm 32:7
