The months go by after a death, divorce or when you receive news of a terminal illness; and each one is counted. David understood anguish, “Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am weak; O Lord, heal me, for my bones are troubled. My soul also is greatly troubled; But You, O Lord—how long? Psalm 6:2-3

Many say that time heals all wounds. I am sorry to tell you that is an old wives tale. The Bible does say that there is a season for everything. However, Jesus is the only one that can heal the wound of a loss.

“O Lord my God, I cried out to You, And You healed me.” Psalm 30:2
