How Big is Your God?
The past few months I have experienced people asking for limited prayer. I wonder why they ask God to put band-aids on their requests instead of asking God for total healing of their situation. The only conclusion I can come to is the fact that they think it is too big for God. This is called lack of faith.
If we want to rationalize this, God is only as big as our faith; at least in our minds. The truth is: there is nothing to hard or big for God. God wants us to rely on Him. Some people have the notion that they are bothering God when they pray. That is a lie from the pit of hell, as my late husband used to say. Satan wants to give us many reasons for not talking to God because conversation brings relationship.
So, when you pray, do you put God in a box? Someone once said, “If you put God in a box, it will explode!”
“The works of the LORD are great, studied by all who have pleasure in them. His work is honorable and glorious, and His righteousness endures forever. He has made His wonderful works to be remembered; the LORD is gracious and full of compassion.” Psalm 111:2-4 NKJV
