God Wants Us to be Desperate for Him

I have heard more than one person tell me that they grew the most spiritually when they were in the valley of life. Hard times either make us cling to the Lord or rebel against Him. But those who profess to have learned so much are the ones who continued to look to God even in the dark places. He wants us to be desperate for Him.

“Therefore my spirit is overwhelmed within me; my heart within me is distressed. I remember the days of old; I meditate on all Your works; I muse on the work of Your hands. I spread out my hands to You; my soul longs for You like a thirsty land.   Psalm 143:4-6  NKJV

When we are desperate for Him, it gives Him the freedom to take us to the perfect destiny He has planned for us.
