A Day of Celebration?
As I celebrate my son’s 40th birthday today, I think about my nephew who was five weeks older than my son. He met a tragic death when he was only twenty. As my brother thinks about his son being gone for twenty years, I contemplate the events in my son’s life in the past. He has had some times of pure joy and other times of agony. I do celebrate his life, because I am proud of the man he has become, I know that the future always holds a chance for us to become even more.
“Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth….”
Ecclesiastes 12:1 NKJV
