Loss of Income

There are many reasons that one may lose their income. When a spouse passes away, an income change can be drastic. But when we trust in and commit our lives to the LORD, He takes care of our needs.

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”

Matthew 6:33 NKJV

These “things” include what we eat, drink and clothes to wear. But God always blesses abundantly. I remember a time that I saw a blouse in the store. I thought it was beautiful, but I didn’t want to pay the asking price. A few weeks later I saw the same blouse and it was drastically reduced so I made the purchase. At the time I was reminded of the verse: “Delight yourself also in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4 NKJV

When we have a loss of income, and we are committed to serving God with all our heart, mind and body, He will supply our needs.
