Do We Allow God to Heal Us?
There may be many different ways we need healing; physical, mental, or spiritual. But, do we really want to be healed? There may be sacrifices once we are healed, such as obedience or discipline. For example: God does not heal us from diabetes just so we can eat all of the ice cream we want.
God is the only one who can heal. When we submit our lives to Him totally we open the door to healing, fellowship and communion with the heavenly Father. Sometimes His act of mercy on us draws us into that wonderful fellowship we can have with Him. But, He always wants us to know how much He loves us.
“Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I keep Your word. You are good, and do good; teach me Your statutes. It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I may learn Your statutes.”
Psalm 119:67,68,71 NKJV
Because God is good, even though we have afflictions as they come from the enemy, God walks us through them.
