Does Helping Help?

When we go through hard times and difficulties it is hard to look outward because our pain is so great we can only concentrate on ourselves. But, we can look to Jesus as an example when He was on the cross and He looked down and talked to John, making arrangements for the care of His mother.

When we have experience in trials and tribulation, we can help others because we have been helped. God is our helper and provider in times of need. (Philippians 4:19) But the best part is that we receive a great blessing when we are used by God to help others.

“Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.”  Philippians 2:4  NKJV
