Suffering with Christ

Many believe that Christians are naive and immature in their thought processes.  Some are!  I know this is a shocking statement.  God’s word says,”For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.”  Note, it doesn’t say children or adults of God.   We are continually growing.  One of the ways we grow up is to share in what Jesus experienced, “but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.” 1 Peter 4:13 NKJV.   If you are experiencing a loss, it will not be wasted by God.

“Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. And this we will do if God permits.” Hebrews 6:1-3 NKJV
