I reached out to my mom tonight; she did not answer when I called. The call went directly into her voice mail, “Hi this is Wayne. Leave me a message and I will return your call.” My father’s voice left an emptiness in me and realization that it may be a long time before I can receive a callback. My father passed away four years ago. I have called 100s of times, but tonight was different.  In the past, I would I always say, “Dad I can leave you a message, but I don’t think you will return my call.”  My mind drifted to the word of God, “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” Jeremiah 33:3 NKJV.   God is always answering and comforting each of us.
