My daughters and mom all get their nails done every other week. They fret when one breaks. They tend to reach for the superglue to prevent further tearing.

Many reach for the superglue (anything outside of God’s word) when they are experiencing a loss trying to piece together their life. What people don’t realize is that this is a temporary fix. God is our stronghold.

“The God of my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, My stronghold and my refuge;My Savior, You save me from violence.” 2 Samuel 22:3
