What is Expected of You?

It is easy to become stressed if we try to please all of the people all of the time. The only One who is worthy of our allegiance is God. When we put Him first in all that we do there is always time to complete our daily duties.

When my son was in college, he told me if he made an effort to take time to study his Bible and spend time with the Lord, he always had time to complete his assignments.

When we put God first our priorities become clear. Then we know what we need to do to please others, not spending our time on needless ventures.

“Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
