Now, when I say unhealthy people, I am speaking about callous people with no empathy and who may be manipulative. This person may even have a hard heart.
Is this person a narcissist, or do they have personality traits that side on the side of darkness?
You may not know the answer, but God does.
“For you have trusted in your wickedness; You have said, ‘No one sees me’; Your wisdom and your knowledge have warped you; And you have said in your heart, ‘I am, and there is no one else besides me.’” Isaiah 47:10
This type of person may be smart, prideful, insecure, callous, have no empathy, and the conversation may always go back to them, how it affects them.
God desires that this person turn to Him so that He may heal him (Mathew 13:15).
So how do you relate to this type of person, to lead them to Christ? First of all, God draws people to himself. His timing is perfect, and trying to lead someone to the Lord without the Holy Spirit’s leading may backfire. Instead, ask God to fill your mouth with the words to speak to this person, to help you show them the love of Christ. Love does cover all sin.
However, be forewarned, as we approach the last days before Christi’s return, there will be treacherous people. We are to have nothing to do with them.
“But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!” 2 Timothy 3:1-5 NKJV
