Love doesn’t envy (1 Corinthians 13:9).  When envy comes into our hearts, it affects us.  “envy is rottenness to the bones” Prov 14:30.  If the Holy Spirit has shown you that you have been envious, confess this as a sin and ask the Lord to heal your heart.  Envy can lead our hearts down a very slippery path.

Jesus was handed over by the Religious leaders to be crucified because of envy (Mathew 27:18).
