Are you enriched? God says so: “that you were enriched in everything by Him in all utterance and all knowledge, even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you, so that you come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ” 1 Cor 1:5-7.
So, what does this mean? The Greek word for “enriched” is ploutizō, which means “to make wealthy or rich.“ Jesus died poor, to make us rich.
“For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.” 2 Cor 8:9
How am I enriched, you say?
You are enriched in everything. Physical wealth, spiritual wealth. You have all the spiritual blessings in the Heavenly places in Christ (Eph 1:3). When you are in Christ, submitted to Him, committed to Him, you have all you need, You shall not want (Psalm 23:1). What more could you want?
“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.” 2 Cor 9:8
