Are you divorced or widowed, and you are wondering if you can remarry?   The circumstances of each may determine if you can remarry and have God’s blessing.

If the circumstances of the divorce are from sexual immorality (pornography, incest, adulterous relationship, abandonment (1 Cor 7:15)), or you are a widow or widower, then you are free to remarry. Jesus said, “I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.”  Mathew 19:9.

No matter the circumstances, allow the Lord to heal the wounds.

“The Lord will call you back as if you were a wife deserted and distressed in spirit— a wife who married young, only to be rejected,” says your God.”  Is 54:6

Be truthful to yourself and the Lord that you are hurting.    Trust Jesus and allow Him to heal your broken heart.
