Heaven is like icing on a cake.  Just recently, my daughter made a cake, and she put the icing in the middle and on top.  My nephew was very upset with how she made the cake.  He said the icing should only be on top of the cake.  Some Christians are like this: they accept Christ, they are saved, and that’s it; there is nothing else until they get to heaven. There is no icing in the middle.  

We have all spiritual blessings in the here and now.

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.”  Ephesians 1:3
