We all need to be directed to go the right way.  Paul prayed that the Lord  would direct the hearts of the Thessalonians  “into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance.”  2 Thess 3:5

Now, I can understand God’s love.  But why Christ’s perseverance?  When I think of Christ’s perseverance, the first thing that comes to mind is the Cross.   We will all suffer in this world, and we need to be able to endure to make it through what is coming in these last days.

“Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me.”  Mathew 24:9

May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance.
