Have you ever noticed the two words a two-year-old uses the most? Mine and mine. As we mature, we learn to share. Sharing is a foundational doctrine. We are to share what Christ Jesus has given us.
“But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.” Hebrews 13:16
There was a husband and wife in the Bible who withheld giving what they had promised, and we can see the consequences: “But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.”
Then Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and breathed his last”. Acts 5:3-5
