“Who do you say I am?”  Have you asked God this question?

You are not a victim when you are in Christ Jesus.  You are the elect, holy and beloved (Col 3:12).  Things may have happened in your life, or you are walking through something right now.  However, when you draw near to God, He draws near to you (James 4:8) and will lift you above your circumstances.  He leads you onto a good path.

“Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.  For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.”  2 Cor 4;16-18
