I was speaking in a nursing home just recently about who will not inherit eternal life in Christ Jesus, when a young worker said to me, “You mean to tell me that what I am doing may cause me not to go to heaven?”  I said to her, only the Lord knows each individual’s heart.  However, Galatians 5 is clear

“Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,  idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, [f]murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.”  Galatians 5:19-21

I said to her, “If you confess what you are doing as a sin and turn from your ways, God is faithful to forgive you.”  He is faithful to forgive each one of us.
