When someone comes knocking at your door, do you ask who’s there? You should! Several of my family members have reported hearing knocking at the door, and when they go to check who is there, no one is there. No one they could see, at least.

We can have oppressive spirits that manifest in such a way to bring fear or make us think we are going crazy. We can also have physical manifestations that come to deceive. For example, when Jehovah’s Witnesses or Mormons knock on the door and want to lead you into their truth, don’t be deceived. The Mormons say (Book of Mormon), The Bible has been corrupted by errors of translation and transmission, as well as by deliberate action, and Jehovah’s Witnesses say, there is no trinity. Watch who you open the door to.

We can also open a door in our lives that leads us into sin. God told Cain, “if you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.” Genesis 4:7. Anger was leading Cain to have an open door.

So how do we rule over these forces? “ submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.” James 4:7-10.
