Prior to His death, Jesus prophesied His death three times to His disciples.
“From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day.” Mathew 16:21
God never leaves us in the dark. He tells us what is to come.
“Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done…” Isaiah 46:10
Jesus’ death and resurrection provide redemption, sanctification, justification, and a relationship with God. What a blessing!
