There is no place in God’s kingdom for self-centeredness.  We are to be humble and look after others’ needs.

“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.”   Phil 2:3-4

We are to reflect Christ in everything we do and say (“Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me” (Matthew 16:24)).

Remember, people who are self-centered cannot please God (Romans 8:8).
