Signs and wonders will be revealed in the last days to deceive even the elect.   

“Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord: The word of the Lord had not yet been revealed to him.” 1 Samuel 3:7

Until the Lord reveals Himself to you, you do not know Him. You can study His word, yet it takes a revelation of God to show you who He is.

“When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?”

They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”

“But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”

Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”

Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. Messiah.” Mathew 16:13-17

Ask the Lord to show you who He is. He desires to make Himself known.  This is a prayer He will answer.
