“But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.” 1 Thess 5:1-3

In the latter times, the Day of the Lord (the time of God’s wrath and Christ’s coming), we will have a warning. We should be listening to what is being said, “When they (Non-Christians) say, Peace and safety!” Because when we hear these words, we will know that sudden destruction (God’s wrath) comes upon them (non-Christians) and they won’t escape.   

“The just shall live by faith.” (The just, righteous in Christ will have an eternal salvation).  

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.” Romans 1:17-19
