Do you feel like you are being tempted? If so, ask the Lord to search your heart and show you the things that are not of Him, for “… each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.” James 1:13-15

When your inner desires respond to temptation, sin comes. Temptation is not of God; God does not tempt; he tests.

The devil always comes when you are at your weakest. He does not play fair; he hopes you will take the bait. So arm yourself (put on the whole armor of God, Ephesians 6) and withstand the enemy. Remember, you cannot fight the enemy in your strength. The Bible tells you to Submit to God and resist the devil, and he will flee (James 4:7).
