When Christmas rolled around, I would ask my children whether they were naughty or nice during the year. Of course, they quickly said nice in the hope of many presents. This may be a question we should ask ourselves. Notice that there are only two categories. Good or bad.
Your character is very important to God. If the Spirit is leading you, you should have the fruits of the Spirit (Gal 5:22-23). Not only in your actions but your reactions. Our reactions tell more about a person than our actions.
We can see that the end is coming soon. As a result, we each should be asking ourselves, what manner of persons ought you to be? (2 Peter 3:11-14)
According to 2 Peter 3:11-14, we should be Holy (sanctified) and godly in all we do and say. We should have our eyes fixed on Jesus and preach the Gospel to hasten Jesus’ coming (Mathew 24:14). We should be found at peace, spotless, and blameless when He comes.
Remember, “Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.” 1 Corinthians 15:33
