I remember when my oldest daughter was two. My husband and I would walk in the door, and my daughter would go down on the ground and have an all-out temper tantrum. My husband would say, walk right by her; we do not condone that behavior. I’ll let you know walking past my daughter was hard; I had to remain firm. She soon realized that her behavior was getting her nothing.
“…my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” 1 Cor 15:58
The world will try to shake us and cause us to compromise on our beliefs. We need to remain steadfast and immovable. We can only do this in Christ Jesus, in His strength.
