Many of us do not know who we are. Many hurts, bumps and wounds have changed what God has designed us to be.

It would be nice to powerwash ourselves so we are all nice and clean. That is precisely what Jesus does.

However, there is a requirement. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9
