We are going to have storms in our life. But who we listen to to get through them is critical.   

My mom lives about 60 miles North of Tampa on the Gulf. This past week, a Hurricane came into the Gulf, and my mom was told that she was in the mandatory evacuation zone and directed to leave. My mom and I prayed and heard that God wanted her to stay. Most of our friends and family said she needed to go because it was unsafe. 

Mom decided to listen to God. As a result, she had no water damage, no damage to her property, and she never lost power. And to top it all off, God gave her complete peace.  

“He stilled the storm to a whisper, the waves of the sea were hushed.” Psalm 107:29 

We must remember that we have a God who controls all things, and when we listen to Him, He will carry us through the storms of life.
