I rented a VRBO when my nephew came to Florida to help us for a week. There was simply no place for him to stay. The house had a sign with a set of “House rules.” The sign was straightforward in laying out the dos and don’ts. The thought occurred to me, how would the Landlord enforce these rules? What were the consequences?

God’s word is likened to a set of house rules, and He lays out the consequences of not following them.

Remember, “All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.” 1 Cor 6:12
