There will come a time when your parents may need you to be their caregiver. 

Questions and questions arise. Where should Mom or Dad live? Who should care for them? Should I consider in-home care or an assisted living center? Take them out of their home and have them move in with me? How will I manage? What do they want, and is this best for them? 

God knows what is best! You are already honoring your parent by talking to God about all this and seeking His direction. God knows what they need better than you or anyone else. 

The Bible doesn’t specifically tell us how to care for our parents. However, it does tell us to honor our father and mother. You are already on the right path by seeking God on their behalf. 

“Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with promise:” Ephesians‬ ‭6‬:‭2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
