I had just finished a Bible study, and God worked mightily. I was hoping to go home and rest. I fixed a quick meal in the microwave, TV dinner. Yes, they still sell them, and as I was peeling back the lid to eat, God gave me discernment that the food was going to explode. I stepped back and carefully peeled back the cover a little more, and it did not explode. As I was praising God, the food came at me. I burned my arm. It would have severely burned my face if I had not stepped back. God has given us armor that we need to be wearing at all times. We cannot let our guard down.   

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” 1 Peter 5:8

However, we have a mighty God who will protect us.

“But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.” 2 Thess 3:3
