There are things in our life that tear us down at times. The Bible says in the last days; there will be scoffers who come against Jesus and His people, and we need to build ourselves up,

“But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.” Jude 1:20-21

We need to build ourselves up. How do we do this? It all starts with a good foundation, and that foundation is Christ.

Jude tells us we must rely on our faith; faith comes by hearing and hearing of the word of God (Romans 10:17). We are to be in continuous prayer and receive God’s love.

The bottom line is that we must continue to grow spiritually and cannot rely on others to do this for us.
