A guard

When I was in college, my father was given orders to go to Greece. He was to take the job of a Navy Captain that was killed by a terrioist. He had guards that watched over his house and family day and night. It was unsettling at times.

We also have a guard over us if we commit everything to the Lord.

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Phil 4:6-7
