When my children were young, we used to play a “clean up” game. We would sing the Barney cleanup song, “Clean up clean up everybody everywhere.”

We are all cleaning up our houses after the holidays, but how about in the spiritual? Are you getting rid of the things in your life that are not of God? God has given you the power to bind and loose.

“I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” Mathew 16:19

When we bind and loose, we are declaring something forbidden and something allowed. Clean up your spiritual house today; declare, and bind up the things, not of the Lord. And fill up the space in your spiritual home with good by loosing the things of God.

Lord, I ask you would bind up the negative thought processes, depression, fear, anxiety and stress in those that are reading this devotion, and you would loose the Holy Spirit, hope, sound mind, love and the power of God into their lives. I pray this in Jesus’ name.
