Many of you grew up with The cartoon “Peanuts.” My favorite character was Pigpen, who was happy to travel in his private dust storm. 

We all have picked up dirt (sin) in this world. It is what we do with sin that counts. 

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”

‭‭1 John‬ ‭1:9‬ ‭NIV‬‬

And we are warned not to share in the sin of others (1 Timothy 5:22).

To keep ourselves clean, we must continually ask the Lord to show us what is not of Him so we can repent.

Unlike Pigpen, “… we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us,”
