We all want to be able to love and be loved. We cannot love ourselves or others unless we love God. If you have not accepted Jesus into your life as your savior, you can not love God. Love involves knowing a person. Jesus said, “If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also….” John 14:7

If you have accepted Christ and are still struggling to love, more than likely, there is a barrier hindering you and it is not God. All barriers were removed on God’s side when Jesus died on the cross. Ask the Lord to show you what barriers are in your life.

Fear is one of the most significant barriers to loving. God says, “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.” 1 John 4:18

Declare today, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7
