“There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called;” Ephesians 4:4
Many today do not care about other people. They only care about how a situation affects them. Even the disciples argued over who was the greatest. We are called by God individually, yet we are to be part of one body. It is our Lord’s desire that we put ourselves aside and love as He loved.
Jesus prayed, “I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.” Luke 17:21-23
Being at one with each other, Jesus and the Father brings us to complete unity. Lay down your life today.
