High Water Marks

I noticed high water marks as I drained my pool to refinish it. The peaks in our lives can cause high water marks. Some high water marks are more clear than others indicating that the water has been sitting for a while. We need to beware; Satan can take us to a high peak (Mathew 4:8), tempt us, and cause us to remain non-impactful for the kingdom. God wants us not to be stagnant but live and move by the Spirit, overflow to others.

“Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive.” John 7:37-39
